I heard it was 62 new students in district........hmmmmmm times $20,000 a year Where will we get the funds ? Eventually they will have to hire another teacher. The class sizes are getting to the "borderline" mark...... __________________

Is it true the boe may increase the tax rate before the end of the month. The deadline for school districts reporting finalized tax rates is 10/31. __________________

The NYS Education Dept has schools under a 4 % Tax Cap. Anything higher has to be approved by the taxpayers in another vote for them to do so. __________________
