Busing, spending propositions pass in Cold Spring Harbor
December 08, 2009 | 11:43 PM The two propositions Cold Spring Harbor schools placed on the ballot this Tuesday, Dec. 8, passed overwhelmingly. The first proposition will allow the Board of Education to make a written policy of its longstanding practice of offering busing to students in all grades regardless of how far they live from school; and the other will allow the district to spend the $1.75 million remaining in its capital reserve fund for building improvements. Neither referendum impacts the 2009-10 tax rate. -- P. Proven
