I've the read audit committee is the boe which is in charge of overseeing district finances?

Read The Press 12/18  Board reacts to cuts in state aid

 $100,000 cut in state aid (dec)
 $470,000 cut in star payment (jan)
 $800,000 cut in native american aid

 $1,470,000 total cuts in aid 
  -   770,000 reserve fund
  
      700,000 shorfall = HUGE TAX INCREASE  
                                    CUTS IN SERVICES
                                    LOAN PAYMENTS

Who serves on the audit committee?

I can't find any audit reports or detailed budget info on the school website. Our neighboring districts have everything on-line.

The school merger consultants said native american aid (federal aid) is not forever.  
It seems only one district was listening. We are spending more money than we have and borrowing money to plug the holes.

Maybe the People on the Reservation could use the millions they have made off of untaxed cigarette sales to build themselves a school right on the Reservation and save CM some money?

We are losing $1.47 million in aid. Why are we taking out a loan for $5,000,000?

march 3 budget workshop, I say 10% tax rate increase.e
