I regretfully am reporting the Passing of one of the most beloved teachers . Mrs Loeffler who taught in the Middle School has passed away this past weekend from a long battle with cancer.
The students and the entire staff are mourning this loss of one of our greatest teachers.

COX LOEFFLER - Kathleen CoxLoeffler of Shoreham, formerlyof East Williston, died at home early Sunday morning, January 24, 2010, after a hard-fought battle against cancer. She was a dedicated teacher in Center Moriches School District for 34 years who lived life to the fullest and indulged in her passions for travel, political activism, lifelong learning and spiritual awareness. Her idealism spurred her desire to appreciate various cultures and religious teachings at a global level. She was a loving mother to Alanna Joy andAnton James Loeffler, daughter of Marion Cox and sister of Susan Cox.
