Here less than a school year and jumping ship before the end of the school year ? Something must be happening for a $150,000 a year administrator to leave in mid stream ?
Attended last nights board meeting and i'm tired of being lied to by the board. They know that new york state hasn't passed a budget yet they seemed confident that the budget is 3.72 with austerity at 4.00 percent. They neglected to let the public know that they tax increase all depends on how much money the district will be getting IF and WHEN New York State passes a budget. That tax increase could be higher either way you look at it..
I sensed something is wrong and I will be voting no on the budget on May 18th.
mr. soto to return as ap at the high school. more chaos to follow for sure. does anyone have any kind of plan for our school or is it all just one big mess? how many different administrators are we going to have ? the board really needs to stop this turnover of admins. not good for the school and not good for the commty
in the last 2 years we have had
1) elem principal resign 2) the disaster of rita mattus 3) an asst principal at the hs, to two "associate" principals, to one principal and now it looks like a principal and an asst principal. what the hell is going on here?! 4) two directors of curriculum, one "resigns" abruptly (asked to leave, in april, and paid the remainder of her contract!), now a "deputy superintendent" can we possibly have any more titles? who is making these decisions?
the students and teachers have in idea who is in charge, its all very murky and confusing....
your lovely reelected schoo board president is making the decisions when it should be the school superintendent making those decisions. linda adams as a deputy super is duplication of services. don't need her on the payroll anymore now that dr james is gone.
