Does anyone know how many of the electives and AP classes that are being eliminated by the 8 period day?

The students will have a problem scheduling electives with an 8 period day.
Already any student taking music will not be able to take the Syracuse University Sociology class. All music students will have to choose to lose an elective.
Isn't this about the kids? WHY is the Teachers Union asking us to move backwards?
