The BOE has been silent on the amount of money in reserve, last December it was announced we were 2% below state guidelines with a balance of $990,000.

How much is in our undesignated reserve account?

there is about 1 million in the reserves now. it was announced last night at the board meeting in which only one regular community member attended and 2 unknown people showed. The tax rate is not at the projected 3.9 percent but around 3.50 percent.

Thank You for the updates. With a tax rate of $225 per $100 assessed value we are still one of the highest taxed districts in Brookhaven.

Reserves are up and tax rate is down, it appears we are headed in the right direction.

EMO should lock in the tax rate next week @ $220 per $100 assessed value.
