6. Appointments of Teaching and Support Staff  

The District recently advertised for candidates to fill various teacher and support staff vacancies for 2009-2010. Candidates were interviewed by committees, building principals, and/or the superintendent.

FISCAL SECTION

8. Disposition of Records and/or Equipment 

RECOMMENDED ACTION: that upon the recommendation of the Superintendent of Schools, the Board of Education approves the disposition of records and/or equipment.

 

9. Contract 

RECOMMENDED ACTION: that upon the recommendation of the Superintendent of Schools, the Board of Education approves the following contract in accordance with the terms and conditions of the contract, as well as at the established cost contained in said contract:

 

Instructional Service Contract - Hampton Bays UFSD (1 Student) – 2009-2010.

 

10: Driver Education 

RECOMMENDED ACTION: that upon the recommendation of the Superintendent of Schools, the Board of Education approves New York State Certified Driver and Traffic Safety teacher Michael McCabe as program lecturer for 32 sessions at a stipend of $5,920 for the fall semester and an additional 32 sessions at a stipend of $5,920 for the spring semester.

 

 

PROGRAM SECTION

 

11. CPSE/CSE – Recommendations 

RECOMMENDED ACTION: that upon the recommendation of the Superintendent of Schools, the Board of Education approves the recommendations of the Committees on Special Education and Preschool Special Education for the months of October and November 2009.

 

 

MISCELLANEOUS SECTION

12. Building Use Summary 

Building use forms for upcoming activities.

 

13. Adjournment 

It is likely that the Board of Education will move to enter into Executive Session immediately upon adjournment of Public Session.
